The story

Since Yu Dong’s wife got stroke, she lost her ability to move and speak. Going to see his wife in the nursing home every day after finishing the work in the hot spring house has become part of Yu Dong’s life. His daughter who worked far away from home often worried about them. In order to make her not worry too much, Yu Dong always pretended he’s all right and told her daughter everything is fine. Before he went to see his wife, he would stand in front of a mirror and practice a nice joke and a big, sweet smile. Most of his jokes were about their nice memories. He hoped his wife could be happy even though she’s in a bad condition. However, every time when he saw his wife smile back at him, a feeling of indescribable sorrow surged within his heart...
